Alternative Progression – Jet Jewellery

Alternative Progression – Jet Jewellery

Taking the project to possible alternatives in the future could be designing jet key rings.

I designed and made these to emphasize how the range could be extended to other pieces of jewellery/accessories. In this instant I have created a His and Hers key ring set, although they could be sold individually.

Again I have used the same making processors as I have learnt in the previous designs and believe I have created a functional alternative to the jet pendants, which actually compliment the family of jewellery I have created and made.

I have also sowed the seed whether jet jewellery could be made for a male audience. Cuff links could be developed and pendants.

The key rings are easily made and the raw material costs are basically the price of the key ring to make (£1.00 each www.beadshopleeds.com), and could possibly retail at £4.00 - £5.00.

This is just a brief insight into the possible future develops that could be pursued with the jet jewellery, which is quite interesting and emphasizes that design never stops, as does the evolution of Manchester Metropolitan University, which I leant  from the early research.
